We need YOU! Please contribute to the NJSIPP PAC. Due to the fact that the pandemic has limited in person meetings, we need an immediate infusion of resources for the NJSIPP PAC fund.
Thus far, in the legislative session, we were able to prevent many negative proposals from advancing. We must continue the fight to protect our specialty.
This is an important election year with all 120 seats of the Legislature and the Governor up for re-election in November. We need to be visible in the political process.
All active Pain Specialists practicing in New Jersey owe it to their practice, their patients and their specialty to support the society. NJSIPP is actively involved in lobbying to support our specialty in regards to fair reimbursement, preservation of pain services, and combating the overregulation of healthcare, PIP reform, and protection of patients from opioid restrictions.
As practice commitments make it difficult for many members to be more active, we are requesting a yearly contribution to the NJSIPP PAC to continue our efforts to support our members. We cannot help your practice if we do not have sufficient funding for political activity. Some of these issues include Opiate regulation, protecting scope of practice, Out of Network reimbursement, new PIP regulations and unqualified peer reviewers. We need to be visible in our state capitol in order to meet with key legislators and have our voice heard.
